BRIEF HISTORY OF THE COMPANY
- Shiv Shakti Steel (P) Ltd, a manufacturing unit of Sponge Iron and a coal washer. First Commercial production was taken place in Jan’2003. Since then, production facility has been modernized and upgraded from time to time.
- The SSSPL unit is today one of the front rankers in Sponge Iron manufacture at Raigarh district. The factory is only 13 Km from RAIGARH Railway station, which is well connected with transportation and communication facilities. This unit has two kilns along with one coal washers, captive solar plant, commercial diesel pump Manufacturer of Sponge Iron from both Iron Ore and Pellets.
- The SSSPL unit has some added advantages resulting into lowering of cost of production which will enable the unit to grab the market. This unit is advantageous as enumerated below: -
(i)It has got Coal from SECL mines, which is just 40km from its plant. So, the company will not have to depend on local suppliers.
(II) This unit has spread over 140 acres’ land area. So, there is no problem in future for any expansion.
(III) This unit has coal which enable to enhance the quality of the Coal.
- Now the company intends to set up a 10 MW power plant with two Waste Heat Recovery Boilers along with AFBC Boiler. This will enable the unit to increase the production and reduce the cost substantially. It will also control pollution.
- The Company is completely Debt-Free and has an expected turnover
- It has also got Iron Ore linkage from NMDC, Chhattisgarh. Remaining we purchase from Odisha.
- We purchase our Iron Ore majorly from Odisha Mineral Corporation
- It has its own bore well water supply facilities.
- Companies have its own lab for testing on materials.
- Raw material and load house are matching with each Kiln including two iron ore crushers. Company has also got two weigh bridges within plant facility.
- The existing Kilns are fitted with first class electrostatic precipitators. The Company has valid License from Pollution Control Board. The waste water is collected and reused. All the dust prone areas have been provided with bag filters and ID fans.
